Architect@Work, Milan 2017: the protagonist is Skinwall’s Woven Vinyl

Skiwall is glad to invite you at Architect@Work in Milan (MiCo – Milano Congressi, November 29th and 30th, Stand 63)

The next event Skinwall will attend is Architect@Work in Milan (MiCo – Milano Congressi, November 29th and 30th, Stand 63). On this occasion, the Italian company will present its new creative proposals in the field of digital printed wallpapers.

The event is dedicated to architects and interior designers from all over Europe, and it is reserved to truly ground-breaking products. Judging the quality of the products is a technical commission, that same commission which selected the Woven Vinyl signed Skinwall. This special vinyl-based material boasts incredible characteristics: waterproof, easy to wash, antibacterial, and fireproof Class 1, B-s1 d0, according to European standards. Its unique composition of PVC, polystyrene and glass fibre guarantees a high resistance to crushes, rips and abrasions. Accordingly, this material is particularly suited to be installed in public spaces such as hotels, restaurants, clubs, gyms, spas and other areas subjected to humidity. Indeed, the Woven Vinyl is ideal for installations in bathrooms, as it is able to cover shower cabins with style while protecting the print with the Waterproofing Kit, an innovative treatment by Skinwall composed of polyurethane mono-component resin, and polyurethane-based wax.

Other great novelty of the innovations of 2018 is Skinwall’s new non-woven Opalescent material. A refined and impressive covering which gives a natural effect to wallpaper, thanks to its texture similar to rice paper. Opalescent is a fine and elegant covering close to ancient paper, and it guarantees high-level performance and functionality. It is resistant and easy to wash just like a vinyl-surfaced material, and it has a front composed of rock dust and water-based resin with a backing of 50% cellulose, 30% polyester, and 20% mica. This material too is fire resistant certified B-s2 d0 in accordance with European standards.

“Our philosophy is based on ceaselessly searching for even more high-quality innovative products” said Marco Brigi, Sales Manager at Skinwall. “Wallcoverings are not just simple decorations; they can actually become protagonists of the space in which they are installed. To us, it is important to offer as many possibilities for customisation as possible, thus offering choices for every style while guaranteeing excellent performances. Being chosen by Architect@Work for the innovation of our products will allow us a further encounter with the inner circle of international designers and architects”.
