EMBLEM OF GUARANTEE OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
Late last year at the CaixaForum, or Social and Cultural Centre of Obra Social “la Caixa”, the Ministry of Territory and Sustainability organised an event to celebrate 20 years of the ‘Emblem of Guarantee of Environmental Quality'' (Distintivo de Garantía de Calidad Ambiental). The Secretary for the Environment and Sustainability, Josep Enric Llebot, and the Director General of Environmental Quality, Assumpta Farran i Poca, presented a certificate to TRES Comercial, S.A. in recognition of it being the bathroom tapware company that has held the Emblem of Guarantee of Environmental Quality for the longest time. It was also honoured for having held the ecological label for more than ten years.
This eco-label awarded by the Catalan Government is an innovative seal of approval that recognises eco-efficiency and sustainability, as well as the effort made by companies to make voluntary progress in terms of environmental commitments, beyond that required by applicable law.
