Brixen Primary School – Triflex roof refurbishment over bitumen membrane
Triflex provided the optimum solution: the liquid applied waterproofing could be applied over the existing bitumen membrane, which spared the school the expense of removing and replacing it. Adhering to the deadline was no problem because the system is quick and easy to apply. First, the contractors cleaned the bituminous surface and then waterproofed the many roof penetrations and wall junctions with Triflex ProDetail. The existing bitumen membrane did not have to be primed.
In the next and final step, the surface was waterproofed with Triflex ProTect, a waterproofing system specially developed for flat roofs. Thanks to Triflex ProDrain and Triflex ProTect, the roof is now reliably protected against penetrating moisture for the long-term and details are seamlessly, jointlessly and safely integrated into the surface.
