TUUCI in the Pure Editions Hall at imm cologne 2019

For the third time, TUUCI, the shade platform manufacturer from Miami, will be presenting its innovative and stylish parasols at the imm cologne international furniture fair.

For the third time, TUUCI, the shade platform manufacturer from Miami, will be presenting its innovative and stylish parasols at the imm cologne international furniture fair. With a new exhibition design by architect and designer Dick Spierenburg, TUUCI will be venturing into new terrain: with its large green areas and open design, the TUUCI booth is reminiscent of a summer garden. Three new designs from the Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX collections, as well as the minimalist Zero Horizon parasol, will be presented featuring canopies in ‘basil’ and ‘nature’ that integrate harmoniously into the overall design concept and evoke a feeling of springtime. For the first time, at imm cologne 2019, the TUUCI booth will be located in Hall 2.2. “We look forward to being part of Pure Editions in Hall 2.2. A place where we will be able to more specifically address architects and designers”, says Rob Planken, General Manager, EMEA Division TUUCI.

The large MAX cantilever parasols are TUUCI’s flagship products. They cantilever from a side post, thus providing pleasant shade for the whole surface below the umbrella, for example for large tables or lounge areas. The Dual cantilever design is perfect for even larger groups. Both designs are available in different forms (square, rectangular, octagonal), sizes and colours. The post comes in polished or powder-coated aluminium (Ocean Master collection) or with aluminium-braced Aluma TEAK wood-look finish (Plantation collection). Thanks to their special finishes, the parasols are weatherproof and corrosion-resistant, even in areas with changing climates. All parasols shown in the exhibition are fitted with heaters, LED Spots AMBIA and auto-lift systems.

The beautifully designed Zero Horizon centre-mast parasol features a very flat canopy and, thanks to its ‘zero’ vertical profile, this umbrella provides shade without compromising views of the surrounding landscape. Its easy-to-operate crank lift system guarantees maximum comfort when opening or closing the umbrella. The mast is also available in polished or powder-coated aluminium (Ocean Master collection) or with aluminium-braced Aluma TEAK wood-look finish (Plantation collection).
