Everyone thinks that Venice is a beautiful city built on water, full of beautiful buildings. No one thinks that there are green corners in this city.
If it is difficult to come across gardens and even flowerbeds, it does not mean that green areas do not exist. Very often the palatial buildings conceal private gardens of inestimable beauty. Mostly are forbidden to visitors and accessible only on special occasions. Then there are parks and public gardens that are spread throughout the city and extend in particular to the lagoon islands.
Public gardens, parks, protected oases and lagoon gardens are of particular charm and tranquility. Each has its own history and plays a special role in Venetian history.
The Giardini panel remembers these green areas of Venice, varied and interesting places. The procedure for creating this Murano glass panel is very complex and laborious. The glass processing technique is performed entirely by hand. Like mosaic technique, even in this design, small multicolored glass plates are meticulously cut and joined together, representing the green corners of Venice in an abstract version.
