They’re popular and highly sought-after, but floor-level showers often fail in old builds due to their installation height, which is too low. wedi solved this problem 2 years ago, when it launched wedi Fundo Plano – the flattest complete System of wedi for floor-level showers. But the development not only showed that floor-level shower elements with an integrated point drain are highly sought-after in renovation. Indeed, the same is true of integrated linear drainage close to the wall. The new Fundo Plano Linea complete system is the wedi’s answer to exactly this trend: demanding and elegant channel design and an extremely low total installation height of just 70 millimetres.
Like all Fundo shower elements, wedi Fundo Plano Linea is a ready-to-assemble complete system that can be tiled directly and was sealed in the factory. It features a horizontal, permanently integrated drain that delivers a drain performance of 24 litres per minute. Equipped with a single-sided and evenly designed surface slope, the new shower element forms the ideal foundation for tilers, allowing them to lay large-sized tiles with ease. The scope of supply is rounded off with an elegant stainless steel cover that boasts a finely brushed finish and can easily be adjusted the relevant tile thickness, as well as suitable slope and drain profiles.
What’s more, wedi Fundo Plano Linea is naturally suitable for wheelchair loading from a tile size of 5 x 5 centimetres without the need to take further reinforcement measures.
Systematically and completely watertight
All wedi Fundo shower elements are completely watertight. And it’s all thanks to the extruded polystyrene rigid foam and an additional special coating made from glass fibre fabric and plastic-coated mortar. The company even offers a warranty promise on the perfectly sealed drain and channel.
