Busch Frontonas (FR-38): adiabatic cooling system for the new services center

Advertorial Bluetek

The company Busch, one of the biggest manufacturers of vacuum pumps and systems in the World, employ 3,000 specialists in 42 countries. In June 2017, Busch France inaugurated its new services center in Frontonas (Lyon’s area). If engineering is one of the core DNA of the company, technical innovation is a key requirement in their choice of equipment.

This is why the new production building is equipped with an Adiabatic Cooling System, a real alternative to traditional air conditioning systems. A Wetbox WFP 30 000 T is today located in the products area to cool down the outside air; the fresh air is blown upwards, then travels through a sheath to finally be spread out through nozzles inside the workshop. The nozzles can be oriented manually to direct the air flow in the desired direction.

The Adiabatic cooling concept is a natural and ecological climate control concept, 100% natural and simple. Warm air goes through a wet exchanger and therefore cool downed; and the warmer and dryer the air, the more efficient the adiabatic cooling process is. This concept enables energy savings, a quick and easy maintenance and prevents the bacteria from proliferating* (a probe measures the temperature of the water in the tray to set up automatic draining cycles).

In the workshop, staff comfort is improved during summer while benefiting energy savings and having a smart energy management. The Wetbox WFP 30 000 T is simply put on wintering during cold days.
