Combining Minimalist Design with Maximum Thermal Performance in Folding Doors

Until now, choosing the right folding system for a project involved compromises between leaf size, minimalist design, and thermal insulation. The new S200 RPT and S220 R RPT series change everything, offering impressively sized leaves, an ultra-minimalist design, and excellent thermal insulation capacity.

Expansive Capability: Leaves up to 5m High x 1.2m Wide

In our previous series, the top-mounted bearing system imposed size and weight restrictions, as the weight of the leaves hung from the ceiling. The new series comfortably surpasses these limits, allowing leaves up to 5 meters high and 1.2 meters wide. This advancement is achieved through two main improvements:

Lower Bearings and Reinforced Accessories: We implemented lower bearings, which allow the system's weight to rest on the floor, eliminating previous limitations and enabling the safe and comfortable sliding of leaves weighing up to 260 kg.

- Ultra-Minimalist Design

Minimalism defines this system, with ultra-thin profiles that minimize visual intrusion, highlighting glass as the main element. The S200 RPT series, for example, features leaves with profiles only 30 mm wide and an inter-leaf encounter of just 74 mm, reinforcing the minimalist and modern character of the design.

- Excellent Thermal Insulation

The minimalist design not only enhances aesthetics but also strengthens thermal insulation. The thin profiles bring the glass to the forefront, reducing the presence of aluminum and its thermal transmittance. To enhance this effect, double-glazed units up to 32 mm thick can be installed, optimizing thermal and acoustic insulation. Moreover, the aluminum profiles include a thermal break, preventing the transmission of exterior temperatures to the interior.

Thanks to the combination of all these features, this system achieves thermal transmittance levels from Uw= 1.54 W/m²K.
