The New AMBIVALENZ Art Collection

5 Artists, 10 Design, 60 Beautiful New Variants

The Berlin based interior label AMBIVALENZ presents its minimalist furniture series FLÄPPS in a new look. Designs from selected artists refine the surfaces of the foldable modules and thus create a creative additional benefit: FLÄPPS is a practical shelf, a discreet secretary or a space-saving chair – and folded modern wall art.

For the new art collection, AMBIVALENZ has selected five young artists and art collectives, including Patternstudio from Berlin, Monika Strigel from Munich and Kind of Style from the Netherlands, whose Designs range from fine patterns to abstracted natural elements. In this way walls can be designed not only functionally but also artistic. Like this, a single shelf, a chair or a table is a unique wall object, in combination with several modules the working or storage setting becomes a small art gallery.

A total of ten prints on six FLÄPPS modules are available from October 5th at www.ambivalenz.org. The designs are applied directly to the high-grade matt lacquer with high quality UV-digital print. Like this it creates a velvety-soft surface effect. The prices for the printed collection range from 165 € for the smallest shelf to 295 € for the FLÄPPS Folding Chair.
