Each Fläpps module is an independent piece of furniture: wall shelf, secretary, coat rack or table. The family resemblance cannot be overlooked. They are frames, each holding one, two or three folding shelves or a table top. They strikingly enclose the wall-hanging modules and at the same time visually subdue them. When folded in, they become virtually one with the wall or an eye-catcher. If desired, their surfaces can be refined with motifs by selected graphic artists that set accents.
The supporting frames give the minimalist modules a clear structure. Their coordinated grid offers endless variation possibilities. 18 modules in four widths, five heights and three depths can be combined, allowing you to start small or design an entire wall. The 80-centimeter-wide modules are particularly easy to arrange into a shelf wall for books of different formats. For example, two modules "80×40-1" with one folding shelf each are just as large as one module "80×80-3" with 3 folding shelves each. If you hang them next to each other or on top of each other, the two shelves will hold the larger volumes, and the three will hold the smaller books. The wall-mounted secretaries belonging to the Fläpps family offer the possibility to integrate the home office into the book wall. When folded out, the sturdy table tops can withstand all the demands of everyday office life. After work is done, you simply close the flap and create a homely feel-good atmosphere.
