Unesco Salle X - Armchairs
To mark its seventieth anniversary, UNESCO renovated the hall of its General Council. Known as the Salle X, the meeting hall of the executive committee, this hall's circular shape symbolizes the equal dignity of all members of the Council, while its ceiling alludes to the meeting of many minds in one single keystone. The renovation project respected this symbolism, designed by its original architects in 1958, while bringing the hall in line with modern standards and regulations and improving comfort for members of the Council. To that end, we used the very latest technology: the armchairs boast integrated multimedia solutions, microphones, headsets and control panels.
