Working inside an eighteenth-century gem like Bologna's Teatro Comunale was a great challenge: the project required us to bring conservation together with technological innovation. Designer Giovanni Baccolini worked with our Research and Development team to design the Rossini armchair, guaranteeing plenty of livable space with its compact dimensions. Without changing the number of seats in the hall, we were able to significantly increase the comfort of every spectator. The design also reflects the special request for the rows made up of blocks of three seats to be completely removable, to make handling and storage easier. On the superintendency request, the colors and finishes of the original have been identically reproduced, with great attention to detail.
