Tomas Bata University

Instituted in 2001, but already active since the early 1960s, this Czech university today has over 9000 students divided into six faculties of Technology, Economics, Social Sciences, Arts, and Healthcare.

In recent years there have been major building renovations, including the modernization of the conference hall of the Academic Centre, in the Faculty of Management and Economics building. The renovation of the lecture hall was directed by the Czech architect, Eva Jiricna, using Tempo seats with removable armrests and tablet tables.
