The products on show include two Red Dot winners for Best Product Design 2017: the DB2 and UnderCover

The name Milan conjures up images of a city where style, design, and innovation collide

into each other with a unique Italian twist of creative colour combinations and

materials. Considering this it’s fitting that Arthur Holm will participate in this year’s

Workplace3.0 at the Salone del Mobile. The uniqueness of Arthur Holm is their ability to

fuse a perfect balance of Mediterranean passion and flexibility with Scandinavian style

innovation and design sensibility, by creating beautiful, cutting-edge design solutions

for sustainable products.

The products on show include two Red Dot winners for Best Product Design 2017: the

DB2 and UnderCover. The DB2 is a super-slim retractable motorised monitor that

creates minimum impact on the furniture due to being only 20 mm. slim. It’s simple to

integrate, intuitive to use (one aligned button) and almost invisible (no cover plate)

when not in use. Monitors are both elegant and contemporary, and discreetly integrate

into the meeting room furniture, disappearing within the table with a smooth, silent

drive. Design and functionality have been intelligently combined to create this advanced

and unique motorised range.

The UnderCover is an ingenious, yet simple solution of an integrated automated cover

plate, able to conceal perfectly the range of Arthur Holm vertical motorised monitors.

This patented mechanism of an automated cover enables the monitor (plus audio

conference and connectivity options) to be concealed neatly beneath the furniture with

one simple touch of a button. When the UnderCover plate is activated a Full HD

aluminium touch screen monitor will appear and (depending on the options) a

microphone, push to talk and mute buttons, speaker, power socket and connectors

such as RJ-45, HDMI and USB.

UnderCover is available in stainless steel and can be veneered, providing a flawless

customised finish.

The Dynamic3Share is also featured. This smart collaboration solution integrates the

unique Dynamic3 monitor (featuring a foldable up/down screen,180° rotation on R

models, and a work surface option for an up/down facing screen), with DynamicShare,

an intuitive AV collaboration system for meeting room participant sharing.

The response so far to the new products has been great! Both architects and interior

designers have shown much interest in the presentations, especially the DB2 and the

UnderCover. We are confident that it’s clear to see our solutions have been designed

with the desire to adapt and improve the workspace environment and experience.
