1. We manufacture in Spain using 100% virgin polypropylene. This flexible material withstands temperature changes, ensuring perfect breakage. Many of our competitors use polyamide, a material that becomes more flexible in hot temperatures, making it difficult to break, and that crystallizes in low temperatures, often breaking as soon as it is levelled with the wedge.
2. Cross-cut height: up to 20 mm ceramic thickness with Mustang Pro and up to 27 mm with Mustang Plus, a system used for outdoor stone installation. Our competitors’ clips reach 12 mm and up to 16 mm thickness, which makes inserting the levelling wedge more difficult.
3. Wide wedge with an optimized 15° angle and up to 36 deep teeth that perfectly engage with the top of the clips. Made from virgin polypropylene, it is reusable at least 100 times.
4. Perforated clip base: Its cost is higher because manufacturing requires two moulds, but it is essential for us that the plastic does not remain in direct contact with the ceramic once installed. The impact of heavy objects in that area could otherwise damage the tile.
