A bespoke rooftop
It is often difficult to landscape nature in the city. ATECH reaches for the sky and brings vegetal on Paris roofs.
With assembled basis and steel kerbs, the vegetal has found its place among the mineral. The choice of zinc was made for the project. Indeed, this material offers easy maintenance, corrosion resistance, waterproofing, a long-life span and an infinite life cycle due to its eternal recyclable aspect and therefore it is respectful of the environment. In addition, the bluish-gray appearance of zinc gives it a unique aesthetic. However, zinc was a too thin material for this robust project. Thus, ATECH was able to combine the strength and practicality of its galvanized steel with the advantages of zinc. How? Zinc panels were riveted onto the various steel elements so that they would appear at first glance.
