MAX 600 stove receives Red Dot: Best of the Best for pioneering design quality

Attika Feuer AG has successfully participated in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021. The international jury awarded MAX 600 the Red Dot: Best of the Best. The competition's highest award stands for groundbreaking design and is only given to the best products in a category.

MAX 600 is a stove with character - simple and straightforward design, generous fire visibility and the best combustion technology. Double glazing, infrared-coated fire viewing panels and energy-efficient combustion chamber technology ensure an impressive and clean-burning fire. MAX 600 is available in heights of 130 cm, 150 cm and 170 cm and can be extended modularly up to a height of 210 cm. With optional storage modules© (60 kg per element), the heat emitted over hours can be extended.

The Customised concept offers a choice of 6 lacquer colours, 6 door handle designs and various door versions. A particularly practical feature is the wood storage drawer with soft-close function below the firebox, which provides space for approx. 24 kg of wood. The two

side benches with a width of 44 cm and 68 cm can be combined individually and give the stove the character of a piece of home furniture.

Red Dot CEO Prof. Dr. Peter Zec about the winners

"The winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best have demonstrated unique design competence. Their designs set trends in product design and give an outlook on future developments. Only a fraction of our participants succeed in achieving the perfect symbiosis of aesthetics and functionality. This great achievement deserves recognition. Congratulations to all award winners", says Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of Red Dot.

Evaluation platform for good design

The Red Dot Award: Product Design, which has existed in its origins since 1955, honours the best products of each year. "In search of good design and innovation" - in search of well-designed and innovative products, the approximately 50 jurors of the competition set out again in 2021. The international panel of experts consists of specialists from a wide range of fields. In the course of a procedure lasting several days, they thoroughly examined the products submitted. Evaluation criteria such as formal quality, ergonomics and durability served as orientation.
