600 RD German Design Award
The 600 RD wood-burning stove wins the German Design Award 2026
The 600 RD wood-burning stove from Attika has been awarded the German Design Award – Winner 2026 in the "Excellent Product Design" category. The international premium prize from the German Design Council is one of the most prestigious design awards worldwide and honours outstanding design achievements.
The jury praised the 600 RD with the following statement: «The open fire staging of »600 RD« subtly connects living spaces and creates a fascinating spatial atmosphere. The clear, rectangular design and generous glass surfaces highlight the fire in an expressive way. Especially impressive is the responsible approach to energy: Well-considered technology, high efficiency and sustainable materials make this project a remarkable reference for outstanding design and technical excellence at the highest level.»
Thanks to its rectangular shape and generous glass panes, the 600 RD stove is perfect as a room divider. The fire is visible from all three sides and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Users can choose between high-quality full-glass firebox doors and steel doors that emphasise the clear, architectural, e character of the stove. The top plate is available either as

a surface-mounted version for a more classic, elegant look or as a recessed version for a strikingly modern appearance.
The 600 RD is user-friendly. Doors on both sides (or on one side only, if desired) allow convenient access to the firebox. The sophisticated combustion air guidance system effectively prevents sooting of the glass and also ensures clean combustion with minimal emissions. The stove meets the requirements of energy efficiency class A according to European standard 16510.
The 600 RD exemplifies Attika's design philosophy: clear lines, sophisticated technology and high quality. These characteristics also impressed the jury of the German Design Awards. By winning the German Design Award 2026, Attika has once again confirmed its leading role in the design of modern fireplaces.
