Necky, special effects in 3D
Ceiling/wall light in removable and washable elasticised
fabric
During the mid nineteenth century, crystallographer Louis
Albert Necker studied the effects of optical illusions and created
the celebrated cube that now bears his name. The Necky light
is inspired by the Necker cube, a ceiling/wall light in the shape
of a cube with only three of the six sides visible. Made from
white elasticised fabric that covers a structure formed of a
metal rod painted white, the light is designed to be easily
removable and washable.
Single or group installations for unparalleled lighting
effects
Necky can be used individually but its true value becomes clear
when used as part of a modular group to create hexagonal light
patterns with high visual appeal. The light is filtered by the
technical fabric and softly caresses the space.
There are many light sources to choose from: LED, fluorescent or halogen sources with screw
fitting or fluorescent source with dedicated fitting.
