Encore at Eastmark in Mesa, Arizona

AXO LIGHT

At the AV Homes Encore at Eastmark Community Center, Studio Dwell selected a combination of the Axo Light ‘LAYERS’ collection pendants in the Entry and Great Room. Within the space the pendants flank the Hot Rolled Steel fireplace with organic lumber accents, as a juxtaposed element to soften the industrial feel of this focal point feature. The overall scale is appropriate, as there is a compound slope ceiling, with a volume of about 22 feet in height. The textural fabric with striped see-through segments gives a sense of feeling very light and airy- like floating lanterns. The white fabric provides a crisp contrast off the wood ceiling, and steel fireplace. These pendants are a great complement to the overall design aesthetic.

One of the exclusive dining areas of the Hotel was designed by Karim Rashid using Nafir, the pendant lamp he designed for Axo Light.
