Rewarded during the regional competition organized by FPI OCCITANIE Toulouse Metropole, the Thales program received in 2017 the awards of the Pyramid of Silver, prize of the real estate of regional enterprise and the Pyramid of gold at the national level.

It is on the ZAC of the Hers, in Labege, that the Thales group has entrusted to Pitch Promotion associated with the architecture firm LCR Architects, the creation of a real estate complex of 20,550 m2 to gather on the same site its employees for its "critical information system" and "cyber security" activities. The operation includes two buildings of which one of 10 000 m2 is reserved for the offices with a surface of the levels, representing for each level (R + 8), approximately 1000 m2 each one.

The prime contractor particularly cared for the comfort of the employees in the choice of the interior shades which must fulfill a double function: to respect the desire of discretion of Thales and the search for luminous comfort, complementary to the blades of the brise-soleil of the structural façades of the building.

To play a contrast effect in addition to the anthracite gray color of the blades, all the façades are totally glazed.

Inside, there are more than 938 Signum Bandalux aluminum Venetian shades in black satin colors in 25 mm strips that come to equip glass surfaces. They thus allow preserving the intimacy without giving up visibility on the outside, whether they are installed in the meeting rooms, collective or individual offices.

The 25 mm swiveling blades make it possible to optimize solar radiation management.

Venetian shades then protect against the direct impact of the sun on the bays: the horizontal blades made of 100% aluminum thus make it possible to perfectly graduate the solar radiation up to 180º on a horizontal axis.

This aesthetically pleasing office building, innovative in terms of equipment, design and use, perfectly meets the criteria of thermal performance, environmental integration and sustainability.
