a little black spider is crawling slowly and tired on an endless road of dark wood.
all of a sudden it holds motionless as if to rest.
there is a cold and alien light shining on the little spider projecting its shadow, paradoxically gigantic and monstrous, on to the surface of the table.
the fascinating projection of the spider''s shadow gave the inspiration for this table.
we started off with a shadow, uncatchable and vanishing, in order to achieve the zoomorphic structure of the table.
the shadow, ever since slave to the body which it projects, becomes the unquestioned master and creator.
table structure: highly polished stainless steel AISI 316; 56 meters of welding work by hand.
table top: tempered extra-clear crystal glass.
dining table: L270 x W100 x H75 cm – seats 8 persons comfortably
