The Berto laboratory recently accepted a new challenge: to design a Chesterfield sofa that is soft and cozy as well as sophisticated. The result: the Berto collection of Chesterfields are elegant and comfortable thanks to new proportions and modern materials for comfort.

Boston is the last sofa added to the Berto Chester collection its deep seat cushions characterize it as well as large diamond quilting that adorn the back and armrests.

Richmond is a classic Chesterfield restyled by the Berto designers and is the flagship model of the Berto laboratory. The seat cushions are large while other details embrace tradition - such as antique brass tacks that line the perimeter of the quilted armrests.

Chester is the more traditional model in the collection and comes in a two or three seater (or more if desired). Chester upholds upholstery traditions of the nineteenth century; therefore, it is made exclusively by hand.

DivanoXmanagua illustrates a modern version of a classic capitonné. High quality and traditional tailoring techniques are evident. This sofa is the epiphany in design and innovation with great attention given to the selection of materials, such as the white Carrara marble feet just one of its exclusive details.

Devon is the type of sofa we are proud to make primarily because it is a classic chesterfield with classic lines and timeless appeal. Devon is uniquely made without pillows or a seat cushion, a feature that highlights the capitonné detail.

Every Berto Chesterfield sofa made respects the following high quality standards: all frames are in solid poplar and/or beech wood, biconical steel springs and elastic straps are used for added support and only high quality goose down padding with polyurethane foam inserts are used for the utmost in comfort.

All models in the collection are available in leather, faux leather, velvet or cotton. Thanks to the service BertoSuMisura, dimensions and details are customizable to the inch.
