The MUDE (Lisbon's Museum of Design and Fashion) has in its permanent exhibition since 2015 a Portuguese chair from the personal collection of Alexandre Caldas, which was specially assigned for this purpose, together with Aroundthetree's PortgueseRootsChair. This landmark changed forever the perception about this icon, becoming also a collection piece. BICA chair paves the way for this iconic design to be part of our lives, in a more intimate and intense way, without ever forgetting the original model made by Gonçalo Rodrigues dos Santos.
