BPLAN was pleased to contribute to the qualification of one of the accessibilities to the External Radiotherapy Unit of the Portuguese Oncology Institute (IPO) in Porto.
It is an intervention in a wall spanning with 8.6 m height, with a new interpretation of the Clérigos Tower, where the metal is punctuated by the organic character of a trace, as if a draft was, leaving clear the plastic potentialities of the creators, materials and productive processes of BPLAN, for the sake of a good cause, in itself very inspiring.
This intervention happens in the continuity of many references to Porto, shown in the course of the different units of IPO, and with the Clérigos Tower, BPLAN hopes to have contributed to the differentiation of the space, endowing it with identity, references, memories, forms , textures and light of hope for all users of IPO.
