Concrete and galvanized steel - the best solution for the seaside
Calzolari's concrete street furniture is particularly suitable for use in sea areas as it offers excellent resistance to salt-laden environments and the most aggressive atmospheric agents .
To prove it, our latest project in Livorno, Tuscany, where a new shopping centre "Porta a Mare", literally "Door to the Sea", has been recovered from the ancient shipyards.
Calzolari curated the outdoor space by installing Folia and Andromeda concrete seatings, Andromeda concrete planters of various shapes and sizes and concrete litter bins, all protected with anti-graffiti coating. The lid for the litter bin has been hot-dip galvanized to make more resistant to the sea salt in the air.
Not only #concrete! For the internal shopping gallery Calzolari designed an 8m long "made-to-measure" seating in steel and exotic wood equipped with power outlets. A #must for a modern consumer!
