Cambridge Architectural to Add Colored Anodized Aluminum Mesh to its Line of Products for Interiors

Cambridge, MD, May 21, 2014 – Continuing a 103-year tradition of innovation and new product development, Cambridge Architectural announced today that it will expand its interior product portfolio by introducing anodized aluminum flexible mesh in several core patterns and colors beginning in Q4 2014. The world''s leading full-service provider of sustainable architectural mesh systems will preview its new offering at the upcoming AIA Expo 2014, June 26-28 in Chicago (Exhibit #2236).

Cambridge plans to further expand its aluminum product line in 2015 to include options in dozens of patterns suitable for interior use with a focus on offering multiple color choices and the widest selection available in the industry.

Lighter in weight and requiring less structural support, Cambridge anodized aluminum mesh can be used as a decorative accent for a variety of interior applications, including architectural drapery, room dividers, elevator cab cladding and ceilings.

Build-A-Pattern™

Not a product, but a concept, Cambridge Build-A-Pattern™ allows architects to mix and match multiple Cambridge mesh patterns. By using combinations, architects can create designs that change and break up the visual appearance of the mesh including altering sections and gradation. Cambridge will feature three Build-A-Pattern™ varieties at AIA: Windsor, Stripe and Transition.

New “Hourglass” Design

The sixth of 11 new patterns Cambridge will introduce in 2014, “Hourglass” is a patent-pending, one-of-a-kind, flatwire mesh pattern designed for building facades.
