Casala presents Nivo! A distinct occasional side table that has several levels due to its characteristic folded table top. Here derives this stylish table range gets its name from. Nivo is available as a side table and a coffee table in several sizes.
The Nivo side table is made entirely of steel. Its tabletop and frame are finished with a matt structured powder coating, available in various contemporary colours. The coffee table is finished with solid oak legs and comes in two sizes.
Designer Michael Hilgers about his design: "In the sketch phase of Nivo, I thought of the behaviour of a paper sheet when you slowly slide it against an adjacent object. The sheet bends upwards and is forced downwards again by gravity. This is how the idea for Nivo was born. A table that acquires extra function by simply adding a fold to the table top. This fold elegantly develops into an extra level that can be used to place a cup of coffee or decorative items on."
