“Percorsi in ceramica” The 2016-2018 Grand Prix

The latest issue of Casalgrande Padana’s magazine is entirely dedicated to the next edition of the Grand Prix architecture competition.

The deadline to register for the 2016-2018 Grand Prix is on 31 December 2018. Casalgrande Padana’s International Architecture Competition is now at its eleventh edition and it has become increasingly important, as demonstrated by its figures: 30 years of history, over 1700 works submitted by over 1200 designers from all over the world, and € 36,000 in prize money divided into 4 categories: Shopping and Business Centres, Public and Service Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Façade Cladding, External Flooring, and Swimming Pools.

Percorsi in Ceramica’s issue No. 37 is entirely dedicated to this important event in the construction world, where ceramics take centre stage.

The competition was established in 1990 by Casalgrande Padana, a company that has always been attentive to the evolution and innovation in the international architectural scenario. The Grand Prix selects and rewards the most relevant creations in the various construction sectors, which enhance the value of the technical properties and expressive possibilities of the company’s porcelain stoneware products.

A cultural event supported by an international panel of judges made up of renowned experts, designers, university faculty, and architecture critics.

An initiative that has grown over the years, becoming a moment to discuss and acknowledge the various aspects of architecture, design, and technological innovation.
