The charm of stone and the strength of porcelain stoneware: introducing Era by Casalgrande Padana
The new Era collection draws inspiration from the natural essence of stone, replicating its veining and colours.
These modern tiles combine stone’s natural charm and porcelain stoneware’s excellent technical features, elevating their application potential. Irregular veining, delicate cloud-like effects, soft shades, and play of light and shadow emphasise these tiles’ colour and pleasant tactile quality.
The Era collection comes in six colours (Era Bianca, Bruna, Crema, Grigia, Perla, and Pepe), various formats, and a 9mm thickness. In addition, the 30x60 cm, 60x60 cm, and 60x120 cm formats feature a natural or an anti-slip Grip finish, whereas the 120x120 cm format has a natural finish.
Two variants of 30x30 cm decorative tiles complete the range. Their modern and refined design makes them perfect for tiling entire walls or just a portion of them in any architectural setting.
The outdoor version of the porcelain stoneware tiles from the Era collection has outstanding technical features, making it perfect for creating a striking visual continuity between interiors and exteriors.
Moreover, thanks to their 20 mm thickness, these outdoor tiles can be laid on screed with adhesive, ensuring high load resistance, or dry-laid on sand, gravel, or turf. In this case, they can be walked on immediately. But there’s more. Fixed or height-adjustable polypropylene pedestals allow for creating raised outdoor floors and hiding the electrical and water supply systems beneath them. Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware tiles are perfectly rectified and are ideal for tiling terraces, patios, verandas, walkways, and swimming pools.
The new Era collection’s versatility makes it ideal for walls and floors, interiors and exteriors, residential and public projects, and new and restored buildings.
In addition, it allows for multiple combinations to create original rustic, contemporary, minimalist, or urban chic spaces and even bespoke furnishings.
Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware tiles are long-lasting, non-absorbent, and antibacterial, thanks to the Bios Antibacterial® technology (available upon request).
They are also inert, fire-resistant and resist flexure, frost, and wear. They are completely recyclable and are not affected by temperature fluctuations, whatever the latitude.
In addition, these tiles do not warp, ensure high mechanical strength, and do not age, remaining unchanged over time.
