Facing brick: an austere cladding of minimalist charm

The purity and simplicity of form defining the Pastorie Balegem B&B establishment, is perceivable starting from the façade. Testifying to its neo-Romantic past, after many years of abandon, the building now relives thanks to a restoration project carried out in synergy with the client. Its pre-existing finishes, surface coverings and materials have been artfully restored.

The panoramic windows, which have retained their original shape, flood the rooms with light and recount the long story of this building, amplified by new perspectives. Minimalist furnishings enhanced by hints of colour render a spatial interpretation that is projected towards a contemporary style.
