COMPACK living® 180 halves the space taken up
trackless opening systems
COMPACK living® 180° is a trackless opening system which, thanks to its special hinge, allows the door to fold back on itself 180°.
Designed to be used on internal doors of any style, the COMPACK living® range completely renews the way of planning a living space, freeing up spaces from the limitations imposed by traditional swinging doors.
The reduced space taken up by doors with the COMPACK living® system removes the problem of conflicts with swinging doors in small spaces, allowing for more freedom of movement and furnishings.
The absence of a sliding guide track, the use of a traditional handle and the rotating mechanism revolutionises the folding door system. Finally, COMPACK living® is the ideal system for projects where an internal or external sliding door cannot be installed.
The 180° movement of COMPACK living® is fluid, stable and guaranteed over time, born from a patent 100% Made in Italy by Celegon S.r.l. in collaboration with Massimo Bonetti, one of the greatest and most accomplished Italian designers.
The COMPACK living® hardware range is developed in two versions: COMPACK living® 90° and COMPACK living® 180°. Both systems use identical doors and frames, they are easy to install and inspect. Furthermore, installation does not require work to be carried out on walls or create additional costs compared to traditional opening systems.
In this creation, we present a project with a glass panelled door with white lacquered wood frame.
The threshold between two spaces in a house with communal areas demonstrates the usual problems of traditional doors having been resolved by using COMPACK Living 180°: a swinging door would have taken up considerable space, whereas a sliding door would have been less attractive.
With the COMPACK Living® opening system, the flap of the door folds back 180° with the stability of a single movement, completely silently and freeing up space from large obstructions.
