Ceramica Cielo has, for the fourth consecutive year out of six editions, won the coveted Archiproducts Design Award 2021 in the bathroom category, reconfirming its position as a leading company in the sector, capable of creating unique pieces in terms of design, beauty and quality, a symbol of the manufacturing and stylistic excellence achieved over the years.
The winner of this prestigious award is Delfo designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, a washbasin with a sculptural and sophisticated soul enriched by a generous storage cabinet. With its pure and essential design, it is a solution of high industrial craftsmanship which, depending on the diverse customisations, presents itself with exciting simplicity to the point of becoming a precious element of the home's most intimate environment.
Characterised by an elegance that loves the combination of rigorous, symmetrical lines and soft shapes, Delfo expresses itself with the power of materials, in a game of combinations between ceramic and wood, which gives life to different interpretations of a single model, united by the same aesthetic vision and the same ability to reinterpret the ceramic material in a contemporary key.
The distinctive trait of Delfo, which won over the jury made up of 50 authoritative international exponents from the world of design and some of the most influential architecture firms in the world, is its versatility. With its infinite combinations, numerous possibilities of colour combinations and compact dimensions (113 x 52 or 76 x 52 cm), Delfo's design is at the same time minimal, practical and refined, subtly playing the contrasts: between wood and ceramic, between rigour and sinuosity, between solidity and lightness.
The washbasin placed on a refined oval countertop - both in ceramic and available in the matt and glossy shades of the "Terre" and "Acque di Cielo" colour palettes - rests on an elegant wall-mounted lacquered wood storage cabinet, available in 8 colours and 5 types of wood finishes, which gives an extraordinary furnishing value to the project. The spectacular aesthetic impact is amplified in the version with a suspended storage cabinet with front door made of triangular solid wood strips, available - like the plain version - in Eucalyptus, Natural Oak, Bleached, Grey and Black. Even in reduced dimensions, Delfo maintains its elegance and functionality. Seasoned and essential, in the new 76 cm version it embellishes even the smallest spaces without sacrificing its storage capacity.
