Le Terrazze del Mediterraneo

Cavallino Treporti (VE), Italy (2021)

Peace and quiet, nature and 5-star fun: these are the features of the Camping Village Mediterraneo in Cavallino Treporti, located between the Adriatic Sea and the Venice Lagoon, a few kilometres from Jesolo, in the heart of the peninsula of the same name.

A facility full of opportunities and fun for those who want to be free to relax without sacrificing comfort and wellbeing. Spacious pitches equipped for camping enthusiasts, welcoming mobile homes, glamping lodging tents and exclusive glamping homes await you.

A choice that has received prestigious industry awards and led to the creation of the Terrazze del Mediterraneo (Mediterranean Terraces), a completely new area surrounded by lush pine forest and easily accessible from the elegant pedestrian walkways. The Terrazze del Mediterraneo are the new heart and soul of the facility, with a seafront water park with seven pools, four of which are for children, and a large facility with wellness centre, spa and swimming pool with sunbathing area. There is also attention to Italian taste and flavours, with a wide and versatile choice of catering options.

In addition to the entertainment offered by the new facility, it was essential for the Camping Village Mediterraneo to be able to also enhance the architecture, with a design capable of combining the natural appearance with a modern, classy aesthetic taste.

The most efficient response in terms of surfaces came from Caesar which, with its porcelain stoneware collections, has been able to make flooring and wall tiling real furnishing elements.

Alchemy is the bold choice that has characterised the internal flooring of some of the swimming pools in the park and the SPA, in a highly appealing combination of colours and materials: a ceramic interpretation of metal was installed with a 60x60 cm sizing in its Mint variant, where the oxidation effect has been created in a chromatic mix of green and rust. This nuance, with the complicity of the irregularity of the shades, has greatly contributed to giving the pool the appearance of the seabed, in a contrast of materials that make its creation extremely contemporary.

The Candle Soft variant by Join instead characterises the mosaic used as the wall tiling for one of the outdoor swimming pools: here, the elegance of the resin and the modernity of the concrete come together in a highly successful porcelain stoneware collection that strongly contributes to enhancing the movement of the water, with hints of a Caribbean theme.

The natural theme also continues into the areas dedicated to catering: here the wood inspiration comes through strongly in Arthis, which has been able to give the ceramic tiles the intensity of the craftsmanship of the artisans of the time, always careful to take care of the whole history that wood contains and to turn it into a gift for the future. Arthis is in Oleum, a warm, intense variant, in the 20x120 cm sizing that harks back to the planks of the original material.

The communal areas blend elegantly with the natural context thanks to the porcelain stoneware rendition of the cement given by the Wide series, used here in the neutral Fog variant and laid with a grip finish to ensure the best possible safety; but it is the natural stone that dresses the wellness centre with elegance with the Portraits collection, inspired by seven selected and different essences that give originality and personality to the spaces. Caesar proposed the Kirkby variant, intense and noble in its dark grey colour, to help generate the atmosphere of relaxation and intimacy that makes the wellness centre stand out.
