CERAMICHE KEOPE, A STRATEGIC PARTNER FOR THE DESIGN WORLD

The company’s products are now available for design in Revit, ArchiCAD and other BIM applications

With a wide, versatile range of porcelain stoneware floor and wall coverings, the emblem of the constant research aiming to offer unique aesthetic solutions with high technical performance, Ceramiche Keope has always been a strategic partner for the design and architecture world, to which it supplies pioneering products and excellent quality services to perfectly interpret any design need.

Precisely with this in mind, Ceramiche Keope products are now available for design in Revit, ArchiCAD and other BIM applications

BIM - Building Information Modelling - is an international methodology defined by the National Institute of Building Science as the “digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of an object”. It is a “container of information on a building” used to have all the relevant data on a building collected, linked and digitally combined in one of the most commonly used design software packages.

Graphic data (e.g., drawings) and specific technical attributes (technical data sheets and characteristics) also relating to the envisaged life cycle are thus available to everyone involved in the design of a building, so that all the necessary information is gathered in a single system, aiming to facilitate the work and the sharing of information.

BIM is a cooperative design method able to integrate all design information in a single model: architecture, structure, systems, energy and management.

This system ensures greater efficiency and productivity, fewer errors, fewer downtimes, fewer costs and greater accessibility, full sharing of information and more accurate and consistent control of the project, allowing all the parties involved to produce interoperable data on different software.

More and more businesses are investing in BIM technology, due to the undeniable benefits it offers the business in terms of optimised work flow and sustainable solutions. In a BIM model, every object of the building is linked to lots of information: accessing these data allows buildings to be designed while meeting high-efficiency performance requirements and minimising waste and the consumption of materials.

From today, Ceramiche Keope products are available to architects and designers for design in Revit, ArchiCAD and other BIM applications.
