Honkatalot purchases motorized industrial doors to replace the burned ones

On leap day in 2008, a fire broke out at the Honkatalot house factory. Almost all of the 3,000 m2 main hall was destroyed by flames, only the floor and a few concrete beams were left standing.

In the aftermath of the fire, CEO Mr Vainionpää began to think about how they could solve the logistics of goods going in and out as a whole, with units coming in and out lengthways in one hall and sideways into another. Help was found at Champion Door.

One 50-meter-long wall is full of Champion Doors industrial doors. It has multiple openings and optimally serves for moving log packages of up to 13.5 meters in length out of the hall sideways.
