‘t Klooster, The Netherlands
CLS LED
Hotel ’t Klooster in Amersfoort is a hospitable hotel at a unique location in The Netherlands. This former monastery is now a learning institution of ROC ASA. Students can learn how to run a hotel or how to cook. At this hotel one can use a lunch, diner, overnight stays or even book a conference room.
Recently the historic building is beautifully lit with energysaving LED lighting of CLS. Several fixtures of the CLS REVO series are used to lighten the monestery walls. One can compose this fixture completely. For this project the both the REVO Basic and REVO Compact Basic with different LED colours and beam angels are used. This way one can play with different white colours (varying from warm white to cool white nuances), and is it possible to accentuate the highlights and shadows of the niches in the walls.
Jeroen Jans (a well known theater lighting designer) performed at his best with this project.
