Joint Venture Taiji Fujimori Atelier x CondeHouse
The Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka finally emerged on February 2nd, 2022 after the 40years of conception to completion.
We teamed up with the design firm Taiji Fujimori Atelier to apply for the open call for the furniture project of the museum. Our proposal was successfully chosen out of a number of applicants.
When you enter the museum, the first thing catches your attention is a line of the simple but exquisitely designed wooden chairs. There’re trapezium-ish benches by the windows being in the natural sunlight. The museum introduces our creation in their website ‘The furniture in common space and the passage greatly influences the impression of the museum. The furniture creates the ambience of the museum.’ Our creation makes it come alive.
