Durable and low maintenance solution to high cycle entrance to parking garage

Yohn Property Management is based in York, Pennsylvania, and manages a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. These range from prestigious corporate facilities and loft style open plan offices to award winning apartment rentals, located in repurposed school houses, hotels, mills, and factories.

Their Monarch Mills condominium location needed a much more durable solution for the parking garage. Matt Argabright, Facility Manager at Yohn Property Management stated, "The existing grilles we had installed prior could not stand up to the cycle usage, and they needed a lot of maintenance." He also voiced security concerns about the speed of the old grilles, allowing unauthorized pedestrians to slip in unnoticed before the grille could close.

Since the grille was cycling (opening and closing) many times each day, we recommended the Extreme Performance 324 grille, which has a cycle life 6 times more than a standard grille, and has no maintenance or replacement parts up to 300,000 cycles. The grille also opens 3 times as fast as a regular grill, increasing security.
