Sustainability is a central issue. Right from the design stage, consideration is given to how to achieve an optimal product lifespan. The chosen materials are circular and the products have a modular structure. Due to a high quality standard, the products are as resistant as possible to vandalism.
Litter bins from the Constructo range consist of separate parts which can be replaced separately if damaged. This allows for a repair instead of a complete replacement. The materials have been chosen so that after their first life outside, the bins can have a second life. Used street furniture is cleaned and refurbished and can last for another 15 years.
The Constructo litter bin is currently on display at La Maison Internationale in Grenoble, a city that has been awarded the title of European Green Capital 2022.
