OAKA Stadium Upgrade with Daplast Seats

The general public grandstands have been equipped with CR4 seats, while in the VIP areas, the Avatar Premium tip-up seat has been chosen.

The Greek government has recently invested in the refurbishment of the Olympic Athletic Center in Athens (OAKA). Through its local partners, Daplast has supplied the new seats that are now part of the iconic tennis stadium.

The general public grandstands have been equipped with CR4 seats, while in the VIP areas, the Avatar Premium tip-up seat has been chosen. This follows a previous restoration of the stadium’s iconic roofs, designed by star architect Santiago Calatrava.

The Olympic Tennis Center, located within the OAKA complex in Marousi, Athens, comprises 16 illuminated courts—the same surface used at the US Open. The Main Court has a seating capacity of 8,000 spectators, with additional facilities including media areas, VIP lounges, and athlete amenities.

The CR4 seat is suitable for installation on PP-Fibreglass brackets, known for its durability and resistance to oxidation, humidity, and salinity, making it ideal for outdoor venues. The Avatar Premium seat offers a modern, elegant design with multiple configurations, including armrests and cup holders, enhancing comfort in VIP areas.

This collaboration between Daplast and its Greek partners exemplifies a commitment to enhancing spectator experience through quality seating solutions.
