Decobel and Houlès: two outstanding textile companies join forces

Decobel has embarked upon an important partnership with the French brand Houlès

Decobel, the luxury Italian-crafted fabric manufacturer, has embarked upon an important partnership with the French brand Houlès, founded in 1928, a leader in the production and sales of trimmings, and who continue to also develop their new lines in fabrics.

Houlès currently has 5 showrooms – one in Dubai, New York and London and two in Paris – as well as a widespread network of distributors and sales agents that allows it to be present in over 160 countries. The elegant decorative solutions offered by Houlès are regularly adopted by professionals dealing with top-level residential projects, for both furnishings and furniture, both in the contract and hotel and restaurant sector. These products have also frequently been chosen for the decoration of palaces and castles, such as the Chateau de Versailles, or for presidential residences in France and abroad. The company has also taken part in restoration work on prestigious historical monuments, such as the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

“The idea of entering into a partnership with this company of an outstanding international reputation in the world of textiles was prompted by our determination to make sure Decobel widens its presence all over the world”, explained Gabriele Guidoni, Art Director of Decobel. “We are convinced that this partnership will allow us to obtain excellent results notably in Austria, Germany and Middle East, the new markets we have set our sights on”.

With a long history and sound professional skills to ensure the finest quality, these characteristics are common to both companies. Their ambition is to create fabrics inspired by classic themes, reinterpreted and innovated to more contemporary styles in leading markets and which meet the tastes and style demanded to create products of timeless quality.
