Decospan is the European market leader in veneer processing and has launched multiple new

innovative collections and brands in the last years. The flooring division of Decospan just recently

introduced Cabbani to professionals on the Domotex trade fair in January. This brand new collection

of premium parquet floors based on HDF or birch multiplex and with oak top layers of 2, 3.2 and

5.5mm, will be unveiled to the general public on Batibouw in Belgium. The panel division has also

been busy since Interzum 2015. Six months after a first teaser was given at Europe’s biggest

gathering point for suppliers to the interior decorating industry, Nørdus is now being officially

presented.

Moreover, this collection allows to share and enjoy the beauty of nature in an environmental friendly

Only the best pine and birch wood are collected and painstakingly processed into veneer for Nørdus.

That way the basic resource is carefully optimized. The unique mixmatch-technique grant the

veneered panels their solid character and avoid any visual interruptions. Nørdus is available as a

veneered sheet or a flex veneer and comes with matching edge tape.

This collection embodies the Scandinavian lifestyle and nurtures us with cosines and warmth. Let

yourself be inspired and start your own creative process. For the finishing of the sheets a number of

different finishes are suggested in the brochure. These were selected in cooperation with Rubio

Monocoat (Belgian producer of oils) and Hesse GmbH (German producer of stains and lacquers).

Thanks to the cooperation between creative, innovate wood and finishing companies, Decospan

realizes its mission: developing and manufacturing products based on veneer wood and making them

accessible for a large audience.
