Charlotte Street
Effisus Projet
The 80 Charlotte Street development campus totals 380,000 sq ft in three buildings designed by Make Architects. 80 Charlotte Street is the largest building at 323,000 sq ft. The two other buildings total 12,000 sq ft of retail areas and 45,000 sq ft of residential space. The development, which began in 2011, is set to be completed in 2019.
Make Architects defined as a main goal for this project transforming this set of 1960s, single-use blocks into a contemporary, fully integrated development of office, residential, retail and vibrant public space. New facades with a mix of material and textures, details and proportions organized to reflect the area’s eclectic character.
Arup is the anchor tenant for the new development and will take approx. 41% of the main building for new office spaces.
Effisus Pre-Fab Profiles – EPDM pre-fabricated gaskets were used to seal connections on the façade system assuring watertight and airtight façade connections.
