Effisus Project
A contemporary workplace, with two commercial office buildings (11 Canal Reach and 21 Canal Reach) under construction in King’s Cross, a renowned zone in Central London, with a total size of 54.000 m2.
The buildings can be of single or multiple occupation, in different configurations, and are due to receive the headquarters of Facebook in London.
11-21 Canal Reach’s buildings offer uninterrupted floorplates, with full height glazing and floor-to-ceiling heights enabling daylight. Large communal roof gardens offer a pleasant place for staff with views over Central London.
The project has an holistic approach to sustainable design, with the ambition of reducing its embodied carbon emissions to the lowest for this type of building in the UK.
In this project, Effisus Breather FR – B was used as a fire retardant waterproofing breathable membrane, as well as Effisus Vapour FR membrane, with its high quality and multifunctional weatherproofing vapour barrier. Sealing solutions such as Effisus Adjoin TI and Effisus 2Bond DS tapes were also used.
