Jardins do Braço de Prata in Lisbon

Effisus Project

Designed by RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Jardins do Braço de Prata are built on the grounds of the historic industrial Fábrica do Braço de Prata in Lisbon, Portugal, which was used as inspiration for the project. An architecture and urban project with a view over the Tagus River, between the historical Parque das Nações and the Alfama neighborhood.

The goal was to regenerate the area and transform it into a flagship development for the city of Lisbon, a new perspective on its industrial past and tradition, and the memory of the place itself, the façades abide by a line of industrial inspiration with titles.

The buildings are organized in symmetric sets memorable for its remarkable and singular profile and characterized of their own image, where they assume ceramic façades and exterior elevations, the inside is built by big glass areas where you can see the garden and the common places for every visitor.

The Effisus Stopper System and Effisus 2Bond DS are the two Effisus’ solutions present in this project, the first used to seal penetrations in flat roofs, and the second one to ensure the watertightness of joints between different surfaces.
