NEW: straight staircase by elite metalcraft

Elite Metalcraft were asked to design and build a contemporary glass trads staircase for an English musician, who, with colleague Neil Tennant, makes up the pop duo Pet Shop Boys.

Exclusive Glass stair manufactured using a combination of 10mm float and 25mm float, laminated together with a non slip surface. The treads are constructed using a special high duty laminating process that can withstand the loads imposed, and enable the whole structure to have a transparent appearance.

This high spec refurbishment in London was transformed utilising a chemically blackened finish on hot rolled mild steel folded plate staircase and balustrade to give a Gun Metal look.

The surface was also treated with Jade Oil. Cantilevered walkway with Glass balustrade with Gun Metal finish
