OUR GREAT CRU, THE HUNGARIAN POINT
THE HUNGARIANT POINT, WHAT A STORY!
Characterized by its blades arranged in herringbone, the floor in Hungarian point designs on the ground geometric shapes that can be reminiscent of ferns or fish bones.
It is these same dynamic lines that give the room, in which it is located, a natural elegance and a very refined style.
Through the testimonials of architects and photos reports of atypical realizations, Emois and BOIS makes us rediscover the point of Hungary:

THE POINT OF HUNGARY, WHAT HISTORY!
The floor in hungarian is an ancient motif that has its origins in the early 17th century.
Also known as herringbone parquet, whether original, or implemented during a renovation, the floor in Hungarian stitch adorns spaces as diverse as their times, such as: the great gallery of the Castle of O in the Orne, the lounge of the Quai d'Orsay clock, and some refined interiors of the Chartreuse Périgord.
Recognizable among all, the style of laying point of Hungary is a real counterpoint to parquet Versailles compartments, including as a favorite for the most neat pieces.
Thus, the current residences of ambassadors in France, places of reception par excellence, abound.
THE HUNGARY POINT, A DIRECT REPORT TO THE RULES OF ART
In this project with a Haussmanian enfilade, the real metamorphosis of the place manifested itself in the installation of a floor in natural hotspot of Emois and Wood.
It was then, and only the finished work, that the volumes and the escapement were expressed.
PIERRE GOMMIER - HERITAGE ARCHITECT CEDHEC, ARCHITECT DPLG
"The owners of this Paris apartment on the left bank wanted to restore the original distribution, built under the second empire and then upset in the 1970s.
In fact, the rooms had been subdivided, boxed, and swatted in such a way that the elementary clarity and the simplicity of the plan were compromised.
The work of decompartmentalization and reconstruction have been magnified by the installation of double old doors in replacements. They are arranged vis-à-vis, to below the curvatures of the ceiling.
The perspectives open, the intelligence of the original plan is tested. And yet something of the obviousness of the place is still missing.
Quality, elegance, simplicity: the continuity of noble floors!
How to proceed ? A cement slab partially occupies the reception.
The new floor must be nice, bright, but also designate the outside and expand the field of vision.
A point of Hungary is needed. More than a simple link with tradition, its beauty comes from a direct relationship to the rules of art.
The point of Hungary is not a simple square but a square of miter: the directions of the lines form an angle of 45 °, half of a right angle.
The broken line plays the repetition of the same compass opening. The walls are pushed back. "
At Emois and Bois, the point of Hungary can be made to measure. The workshop of our manufacture makes on demand widths, lengths but also angles which will adapt in a harmonious and natural way to your interior.
THE POINT OF HUNGARY, ANCIENT BUT TIMES
The point of Hungary has survived the times without losing its remarkable charm. It suits today with many styles of decoration.
In this Parisian apartment, the owner wanted to accentuate the geometric effects of the point of Hungary.
The blades of the Alaria, an oiled solid oak, were inverted, creating atypical parallelograms in the center of the living room.
REVISITED HUNGARY POINT INVERSE & INCRUSIVE
In this project, it is a complete transformation of an insalubrious apartment that has been operated.
EMILIE LE HAY - ARCHITECT
"This was a complete rehabilitation.
This flat of 32m ², in mid RDC / 1st stage, rather bright with its five openings (on inner courtyards and on street), was optimized to the maximum with made-to-measure furniture.
It includes a bedroom, a bathroom, a toilet / laundry room, a semi-open kitchen on a living / dining room.
This total renovation of the walls, ceilings and floors has revealed its full potential when laying the parquet Aratika (solid oak Emois and Wood) point of Hungary.
I wanted to add a touch of originality by embedding several black marble cabochons of Come. "
THE POINT OF HUNGARY, A LOVE OF PARQUET
Emois et Bois emphasizes that the installation of a hungarian floor, requires to orient the patterns according to the lighting of his room and the orientation of the windows.
Indeed, the lighting will affect the perception
