While real estate and facility management are experiencing profound evolution, thanks in part to technological innovations and the growing awareness of the influence of workspaces on staff motivation, large organizations are adopting new working models, because the space has become a strategic lever, engendering interaction between real estate management offices and HR. Changing spaces to change corporate culture, designing flexible workspaces to increase engagement: intelligent working environments make it possible to reduce the size of premises (currently 60% of available space in companies is not used), modify layouts and diversify in terms of types of space.

The Fantoni Research Centre keeps on investigating the evolving world of work, including its sociological aspects, and responds to the need for both a social life and privacy in the workplace. With increasing frequency, open-space offices require small meeting areas or closed spaces for those in need of privacy.

Acoustic Room creates an acoustically-protected haven inside an open-space office or collective environment, for meetings and other situations requiring particular privacy and focus.

A box within a box, comprising four modules of different dimensions (120 x 240 x H240 cm - 240 x 240 X H240 cm – 300 X 300 X H240 cm - X 300 X 600 X H240 cm), creating islands within high-traffic spaces, from the smallest solution to be used as a phone booth to the most sophisticated one, used as a meeting room up to 6 people.

The module is sound proof and acoustically protected as it consists of 4akustik sound-absorbent panels as well, which are a high-performance acoustic product from Fantoni's Acoustic Panelling division.

The acoustical pod is supplied with different levels of customization, from a very simple solution (without flooring and glass partition, just 2 walls of 4akustik) to the most complete one with melamine flooring and glass or blind walls.

Lighting and ventilation system are always included, while a wide selection of furniture solutions may complete the box.
