THIN BRICK AND BRICK JOINED IN SAME REFERENCE
The Feldhaus Klinker brickworks from Germany has been producing bricks and products from fired clay for over 165 years.
For over 40 years thin bricks complement the product range.
The product series "vario" impresses with its waterstroke-like surface with variable color design and smooth color transitions.
The K911 brick and the R911 thin brick are almost identical in appearance. Both are based on a cream-colored basic shade, which is additionally refined with a light engobe.
The thin bricks are available in a thickness of 14 to 25 mm and are also offered as prefabricated angle corners.
Facades made of bricks and thin bricks are considered very durable and weatherproof. They require almost no maintenance. The required clay and loam is a regional raw material, which is available in large quantities. As an ecologically sound building material, it is appreciated by architects worldwide.
The reference shown is a new church building in the Weidenpesch district of Cologne.
The church windows, bell tower and the two entrance portals are highlighted by an ornamental design of the brick surfaces using solid bricks. They emphasize the sacred character of the building.
